    Upgrading weapons

Improving a weapon requires a smith, a smith with an appropriate workspace.

Each upgrade gives the weapon +1 to Damage, Attack Skill and Defense Skill.

    The cost of upgrading is:
    [Original cost]*2

If you wish to improve a weapon a second time the new value of the weapon(Original cost*2) is also multiplied by two.

    Example:
    Dagger. 2 Damage. +1 Attack. +0 Defense. 5 Gold
    Dagger+1. 3 Damage. +2 Attack. +1 Defense. 10 Gold
    Dagger+2. 4 Damage. +3 Attack. +2 Defense. 20 Gold
    Dagger+3. 5 Damage. +4 Attack. +3 Defense. 40 Gold

The uppermost limit is +6, with only special occasions allowing for improvement beyond that.

If you do not have a smith employed fear not! Cities in the area have smiths ready and willing to do the job, it'll just cost more. 50 Gold is added to the cost already mentioned.

You must follow the upgrade path, no making a +2 into a +6 in one go, the cost must be paid for each level.
